Throughout this whole pestilential pickle, I’ve had a lot of free time, to which I’ve been able to truly reflect upon the various facets of my life that have been so integral to the way I would spend my days. I’ve gained a finer appreciation for the life I’ve lived and as a result, I’ve been able to focus on the things that truly matter to me and how much I look forward to experiencing those things again. These aspects of my life have varied from such things as going for a walk to the local coffee shop with my girlfriend, to spending an entire evening with my loved ones, celebrating the birth of a new member of our family. Regardless of their significance or importance, they are moments that have become great memories to me, and I encourage everyone to reflect on the moments that mattered so much to them as well, especially during this difficult time.
It may seem a little silly, some might say excessive even, to discuss these past memories as if they took place another lifetime ago when it’s really only been like two months. However, regardless of the timeline, I always enjoy thinking about the moments of my life that are meaningful. The optimist in me is constantly looking forward to the next point in time when I can experience a meaningful moment with those I care about.
I wanted to write this blog post to talk about how important it can be to reflect on your life and what makes you happy. Whenever said self-reflection takes place, taking a good look inside yourself can really open your eyes to what’s important, and can allow you to adopt a new approach to living your life. Regardless of how long these current living conditions last, I think it is important for everyone to reflect on the things that matter most, and be passionate about the life they live.
Thank you for reading and stay safe!
